I know there are times when customers are looking for the perfect quilt and just don’t see anything ready to ship that has the look they’re wanting. If you don’t see just what you’re looking for in my shop, I’m adding custom, made to order listings for you to “Pick Your Own Fabrics”. Each listing is for a different size quilt, from crib to king. I’m still in the process of adding them to my Etsy shop, so please check back over the next couple of days to see them all.
I’ve put all the information on how to pick your fabrics in each listing. You get to choose from thousands of fabrics on both hawthornethreads.com and hancocks-paducah.com. You’ll put the names of the fabrics in the “notes to seller” box at checkout, I’ll order the fabrics, and get started on the perfect quilt for you. If you get stuck or have any questions on the process, please send me a message and I’ll help in any way I can. I want you to enjoy creating your own beautiful rag quilt!
Just finished listing this quilt in my etsy shop. A sewing friend asked me what fabrics I used. They are from the Moda 3 Sisters Double Chocolat collection. I checked and they are out of print now. 😥 I probably have enough to make one or two more quilts. I sure wish designers would bring back some of these beautiful fabrics. I’d be first in line to buy them. I have my eye on this collection and a blue and white collection that I used a few years ago. I should have bought much more, but I didn’t realize how popular they would be. You can find this pretty quilt here. Let me know if you are interested in a different size and I can check to see if I have enough.
I’ve been working on this quilt for a few days and should have pictures and a listing in a day or two. I used beautiful Moda fabrics for this one. The colors are so rich and lovely. I especially like the blue squares. The blue is a dusky blue and it gives this quilt an antiquey feel.
These are the fabrics I’m using in my next rag quilt. They are Mod Tod fabrics from Riley Blake. Got fabrics cut out, pinned, quilted, and rows are ready to be put together tomorrow. I love when I have a full day to sew. Got way more done than I thought I would today. I should have pictures and a listing in a couple of days.

I just love Amy Butler fabrics, especially from her Love Collection. The colors and prints are so bold and pretty! This collection is very popular with my customers and I’m glad Amy Butler hasn’t discontinued it. I can make any size quilt, from crib size to king. I would love to talk with you about a rag quilt using these lovely fabrics.
